REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY  November 11th 2018

CELEBRATING AND REMEMBERING THE END OF WW1 ONE HUNDRED YEARS AGO

Plans are gradually coming together to mark the centenary of this important occasion.

After the ceremony at Wenhaston War Memorial followed by the Remembrance Day service in the Church, there will be a celebration in the Village Hall and a chance to remember those who were affected in any way by the war.

There will be photographs and displays about the war and life at the time.

Refreshments will be served and EVERYONE IS VERY WELCOME.

Does anyone have any photos, artefacts or memorabilia from the time which we could show? Anything about soldiers who returned would be helpful too. If so, please could you let us know? We would love to use them.
