The Workers Educational Association is Britain's major voluntary adult educational organisation.
The WEA exists to provide high quality learning opportunities for adults from all walks of life. You don't need any previous knowledge or qualifications to join most of our courses, only a willingness to share with others your curiosity, ideas and experience.
We are firm believers in life-long learning as a human right and a social good.
Wenhaston WEA runs two courses a year - the first in January and the second starting in September. Usually they run for 7 or 8 weeks with a break for half term which is aimed to coincide with the school half term. Sessions run for two hours on a Friday morning starting at 10.00.at the Village Hall.
Recent course subjects range from Islam to East Anglian Landscapes, from Tudor History to World Cinema.
