The Parish Council have purchased a cast 'Tommy' figure and it has been installed opposite the 'Star' in Hall Road. The installation has been a joint effort between Arthur Musk, David Cox (Chippentree Ltd) and Crispin Chalker (BigWood). Crispin has provided a tree trunk carved with the motto 'There but not There' and mountings for the Tommy. The site has been donated by Lewis Leech and family.

The Wenhaston Charities group have commissioned two art works from Gary Mayes, a local metal artist. These have been installed in the Village Hall, one in the window facing Hall Road and the other in the café. A very fitting tribute for all those brave men of WW1, 37 of whom came from Wenhaston.
